Drive-O-Matic

I just uploaded the second game I have ever made. It is an Infinite-Runner game. 

I enjoyed making it. 

The focus of this project is to make a game with simple controls and gameplay so people who don't usually play games could enjoy this game. My parents told me that they liked the simplicity of my first game which inspired me to make this game. If you have any parents or grandparents that ask you why you play your games so much, introduce them to this game. It may help them understand why you love playing games. 

In the process of making this game I learned how to make a start screen, a game over screen, instantiate objects in the game, and work on my C# code. All things that will help me make better games in the future.

If you want to learn how to make a game, start by downloading a game engine (I like Unity) watching some tutorials (don't get scared at all the technical stuff, you will get used to it as you learn), make mistakes (programming is full of mistakes and problem solving, it's how we all learn), learn how to Google solutions to problems (Google is your friend), and start making a simple game (like I did). You will be proud you did! Documenting your progress online helps motivate you to make better games.
